Here are all the best jokes One Direction have ever told

and Chris Stark are absolutely smashing their way through Radio 1’s 24 Hour LOL-A-Thon, bringing you 24 hours of jokes from 4pm on Tuesday all the way through to 4pm on Wednesday, in aid of .

They’ve had assistance from school kids and celebs alike, not to mention their fellow Radio 1 DJs, but what if were able to lend a helping hand?

We found all the best jokes the boys have ever told, in case Scott and Chris are running a little short of LOLs towards the end of the day.

Harry Styles

Back in 2013, when 1D released the official Comic Relief single One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks), the boys had to reveal their favourite jokes. Harry’s genuinely made us chortle… once we got it, that is. “What did Zero say to Eight? 'Nice belt!'” LOL.

Mr Styles is known for telling jokes on stage, with fans being treated to such gems as, “Why can’t the flower ride his bike? Because his petals fell off.” However, it’s his knock knock jokes that really crack us up:

“Knock knock.” “Who’s there?” “A cow goes.” “A cow goes who?”

“No, a cow goes MOO!”

“Knock knock.” “Who’s there?” “Hula.” “Hula who?”

“P.”

And one more courtesy of Harry’s Twitter: “Why did the ghost go into the bar? For the boos.” The man is in the wrong job.

Louis Tomlinson

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have worked on new music together

Will the track appear on Liam's upcoming solo album?

While having some bants with Wagner (remember him?) on X Factor back in 2010, told the following belter: “Why did the mushroom go to the party? Because he was a fungi.” Brilliant, right?

However, the first joke the Just Hold On singer ever learned wasn’t *quite* as side-splitting. “What’s the dentist’s favourite time? Too-thirty.” OK, we’ll admit, we still sniggered.

As for his Comic Relief 2013 contribution, Louis came up with this classic: “What do you get when you cross a snowman with a vampire? Frostbite.”

Liam Payne

Liam struggled to think of any LOLs when tried to get him to tell jokes on tour, but eventually came up with this gem that he stole from his security guard, Paddy. “Two fish in a tank, one says to the other, ‘Do you know how to drive this thing?’”

His Comic Relief joke was equally animal focused: “What do you get when you cross a pig and a cactus? A porky-pine.” Must try harder, Liam.

Niall Horan

Niall chats to Scott Mills

Niall from One Direction chats to Scott about the group's biggest single yet.

Despite egging on Liam, Niall was equally uninspired when telling jokes on tour, so had to look to a chocolate biscuit wrapper for some funnies. To be fair, what he found wasn't terrible: “What do penguins eat on their birthdays? Fish cakes!”

For Comic Relief 2013, Niall submitted, "Why did the cookie go to the doctor? Because he was feeling crumby." Ha.

Zayn Malik

Zayn Malik receives the ultimate honour from his hometown

The solo star has been immortalised as a sand sculpture.

So ’s not in the band anymore, but it feels rude not to include his classic joke submission from Comic Relief 2013: “Why did the skeleton go to the movies by himself? He had no body to go with him.”

Comic Relief takes place on 24 March 2017. Click for more information and how you can get involved.
