Kym's mastered singing, acting and presenting, but now she's got dancing to add to that list as she joins our class of 2022!

Her career in music began around the age of 11, when she would perform in local pubs and clubs, before rising to fame on singing competition show Popstars in 2001. Kym made the top five, winning a spot in pop group Hear'Say and going on to release two number one singles, a number one album and tour arenas around the UK. When the band split in 2002, Kym enjoyed a successful solo career, before turning her attention to acting.

She went on to play the role of Michelle Connor in Coronation Street for 14 years, bagging two British Soap Awards along the way - Best Newcomer in 2007 and Best Female Dramatic Performance in 2017. She also won a National Television Award for Most Popular Newcomer in 2007.

Kym has since gone on to star in TV drama The Syndicate, and has appeared on stage in Fatal Attraction and Elf: The Musical. Presenting has also come naturally to Kym, seeing her front shows such as For Love or Money, The One Show, Loose Women, Your Money or Your Life, and since 2020, Morning Live.
