Miloš Karadaglić has worked with many of the world’s leading orchestras / conductors and in some of the greatest concert venues. He is the first ever guitarist to have performed in solo recital at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Now firmly established in the classical firmament, Miloš remains committed to commissioning new repertoire. Next season will mark the world premiere of Howard Shore’s guitar concerto, commissioned by the National Arts Centre Orchestra Ottawa and Alexander Shelley. Further new commissions for Miloš include a concerto by composer Joby Talbot which will be premiered in 2018.
Miloš is a passionate supporter of music education and acts as a Patron of the Mayor of London Fund for Young Musicians and the Awards for Young Musicians. He is an Ambassador for Live Music Now and the Wigmore Hall’s Learning Programme. He was appointed a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music in 2015. He performs on a 2007 Greg Smallman guitar.
