Costa Rica is home to huge Hura trees. These giants stand out above the dark forest floor and their branches are in sunshine every day. Up on the branches, other plants start to grow, standing on the shoulders of the Hura.

These trees create 'gardens in the sky'. The Planet Earth II team wanted to take the cameras through these gardens.
Rope experts, Ollie Laker and Tom Crowley, worked with cameraman Robin Cox and director Emma Napper to achieve this.
