In the Scenario section of your exam, you may be presented with a picture which you must interpret and make sense of.
A team that get on well with each other will make more progress in training than a team that does not.

Q) Evaluate how effective social factors can be during performance development. (4).

Applying the technique

  1. Read the question(s) first:
    • your answers must refer to the social factor.
    • you must relate your answers to performance development (training).
    • you must give a judgement and evidence why this judgement was provided in your evaluations.
  2. Now look at the picture and quote provided:
    • the picture shows a united team who appear to get on well with each other.
    • the quote is very open ended and can apply to any social factors so long as they are positive, for example:
      • communication
      • contribution
      • etiquette
      • team dynamics

Now use 2. as a checklist and write out your answer whilst remembering what the question is asking of you in 1.
