The Waxing Captors, or The Lady in the Radiator as they were previously known, are a young and enthusiastic punk band from the depths of Suffolk.

The full line up is as follows:

Luke Littleboy - Vocals
Jack Rundell - Lead Guitar
John Ridealgh - Rhythm Guitar
Andrew Jones - Bass
Tom Raffe - Drums

They formed in July 2002 after they became fed up with how they see music today as 'little more than a fashion parade' and wanted to make music that they would love to play.

They recorded their first EP entitled 'Les Revoilou' in early 2003 and it earned them the right to take their first few tentative steps onto the Ipswich music scene.

They went down pretty well receiving some fairly impressive comments in the press for such a new band and have continued gigging around Ipswich and East Anglia.

They have now however ditched the recording studio in favour of using their own multi-track recorder. They say its to allow them to be more experimental as they were feeling musically constricted by the studio environment.

We'll have to wait and see whether this was a good decision, they are planning their next release for later this year.
