We are leading the future of audio on the Web by chairing the W3C Audio Working Group, developing new technologies such as the Web Audio API and the Web MIDI API.

What we're doing
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ is a very active member in the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), participating in many groups developing future standards for the Web. One such group is the , in which we have been active since its inception, and which we have been chairing since December 2011.
Why it matters
The mission of the W3C Audio Working Group, is to add advanced sound and music capabilities to the Open Web Platform.
Building upon and expanding the basic functionalities brought by HTML5's
Outcomes
So far the group has published drafts of two specifications, the and as well as a document.
