Matt Smith (the Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond, his new companion) bring the Time Lord back to the Proms for two performances of a family-friendly spectacular with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ National Orchestra of Wales, who record all the soundtracks for the series.
Intergalactic music includes Murray Gold's music from the TV series, plus a selection of classical favourites (24 and 25 July).
Doctor Who first came to the Proms in 2008 and proved to be one of the hottest tickets that season; the first of this year's Doctor Who Proms will be broadcast on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three.
