Tassy's Snow Blog 2

Tassy Swallow is taking a break from her surf training. She's swapped her usual board for skis and a snowboard. So can surfers be good snowboarders. Read part two of Tassy's Snow blog to find out. You can also see earlier blogs from the teenager.

This week has gone so fast! I have boarded everyday since Tuesday and have been having board lessons every afternoon from 1 till 4.

Yesterday we had our grading assessment. They do it in levels so if you manage to do certain things then you are either a Grade 1 (the bottom) or a Grade 4 (the top one) depending on what you have managed to do by the end of the week.

Considering I hadn't ever stood on a snowboard, I was pretty happy to have been given a level 2 by the end of one week. You even get a little certificate to bring for the next time you come so that you can start from the point you left off.

I am going out boarding with Eryl today (Beth Mason's mum) right to the top of Le Menuirre and then coming back down on the blue and red runs.

It sounds like it could be a laugh seeing as Eryl loves stopping at every Cafe for a hot chocolate or a cup of tea!

With this being our last day I would love to give a Black run a go BUT at the same time, being the accident prone person I am, I'm not really too sure if its a good idea...
