Annual Report and Accounts 2012/13
Each year the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ reports to licence fee payers and audiences in the Annual Report and Accounts. The Annual Report and Accounts are formally laid in Parliament in accordance with the requirements of the Charter. Usually this happens in July. They are also published on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s website.
The Annual Report includes two separate reports. Part 1 is the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Trust’s review and assessment of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ performance during the year. Part 1 also includes information about the work of the Trust and the costs of running the Trust. Part 2 is the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Executive’s report on its own performance during the year.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s financial statements are prepared by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Executive and audited by independent auditors before being presented to the Trust and laid in Parliament.
In addition to the Annual Report and Accounts, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ is required to lay a television licence fee trust statement in Parliament. This is shows the revenue receivable from Licence Fee payers, in accordance with the Accounts Direction given by HM Treasury in accordance with Section 2 of the Exchequer and Audit Departments Act 1921. Audience Councils annual reviews
Each of the Trust's four Audience Councils publishes an annual review.
Trust service reviews - progress report
The Trust is required to review every Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ service once every five years. At the end of each service review, the Trust publishes a report and this contains action points which are either for the Trust to fulfil or areas where the Trust has asked the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Executive to take action.
This progress report shows that the majority of action points from the Trust’s service reviews have been fulfilled.
Purpose remit survey reports
Each year the Trust carries out a survey of audiences to see whether the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ is delivering its public purposes. The results of this year's annual tracking surveys are available below.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ workforce equality
Each year the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ publishes information about equality and diversity, including its arrangements for promoting equal opportunities in the workplace.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ staff training
As required by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Agreement, the Executive Board reports to the Trust annually on the current operation and effectiveness of the arrangements for the training and retraining of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ staff. This commentary sets out the Trust's observations on the Executive's arrangements over the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's financial year ending at 31 March 2013.
