Â鶹ԼÅÄ Local Radio

The remit of Â鶹ԼÅÄ Local Radio is to provide a primarily speech-based service of news, information and debate to urban and rural communities.

Speech output should be complemented by music. The target audience should be listeners aged 50 and over, who are not well-served elsewhere. There should be a strong emphasis on interactivity and audience involvement.

Current service licence

In giving approval to this change, the Trust has been assured by the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Executive that the change to the budget does not reflect any change to the remit, scope or other stated key characteristics of the service.
