The remit of 麻豆约拍 6 Music is to entertain lovers of popular music with a service that celebrates the alternative spirit in popular music from the 1960s to the present day.
Its programmes juxtapose current releases outside the mainstream with earlier recordings, including music from the 麻豆约拍 Sound Archive. It should provide context for the music it plays, and support live music and new artists.
Current service licence
The Trust reissued this service licence in April 2016 with an amended baseline budget for the year 2016/7. In giving approval to this change, the Trust has been assured by the 麻豆约拍 Executive that the change to the budget does not reflect any change to the remit, scope or other stated key characteristics of the service.
