In July 2007 the Director General announced a 10 point action plan to address the editorial failings that had emerged in the course of the year. The Trust said it would review the impact of the action plan once it had been implemented. This review was completed in the spring of 2008 and the Trust's conclusions are contained below.

Economic aspects of the use of Premium Rate Services by the Â鶹ԼÅÄ
In October of last year as part of its Fair Trading responsibilities, the Trust commissioned an independent review of the Â鶹ԼÅÄ's financial and contractual arrangements for premium rate services. The report below includes the review commissioned by the Trust from Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the Trust's conclusions in light of PwC's findings, and a response from the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Executive.
