Melisma Choir
The Melisma Choir sing for The Arts Show
Melisma was founded in 2004 by formal St Catharineβs Cambridge choral scholar and Derryman Geoffrey Moore. In 2007 they took part alongside soloists from the Ulster Orchestra in a series of chamber recitals for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Ulster. Since then the group has continued to give concerts around the Belfast area (notably in a concert series with the string ensemble Sinfonietta and rock band Hooker), tour the UK and visited New York. The group consists of Lynda Barrett and Susan Campbell (sopranos); Jenny Bourke and Philip Stopford (altos); Trevor Argus and Andrew Smith (tenors); and Roger Martin and Brian Hunter (basses).
