Their 2013 debut album. 'The Narrator', took emotive stories submitted by their fans, about a range of subjects from fatherhood and body image to fighting cancer, and brought a great poetry – both lyrical and musical – to these very personal vignettes.
The songs are stirring, echoing Springsteen and Counting Crows. They are also very much a product of their home in the South Wales valleys, characterised by a defiant, melodic and anthemic rock surge that follows a different path through their communities to the likes of Kids in Glass Houses and The Blackout, but has equal resonance and an equal potential to lift massive audiences globally.
