Viewers decide who should join the castaways
Catrin Lye, 20, psychology student at Liverpool University from Cardiff
Catrin is currently doing a psychology degree at Liverpool University which she says makes her "Welsh/Scouse ... could it get any worse?".

She has been with her boyfriend for a year, but says that he is too nice for her as she can be selfish and quite a bitch. She describes herself as outgoing, excitable, talkative and argumentative admitting that she can be very moody at times.

Catrin says she suffers from verbal diarrhoea and often speaks without thinking, saying her brain runs faster than her mouth ... causing everything to come out in a gibbering mass. She is very proud to be Welsh and brags about Welsh sporting achievements and singers that hail from Cardiff.

- Catrin likes to have a good time and is happiest nattering with friends with a glass of wine. She also admits to "drinking too much as is customary for a full time bum (student)."
- Catrin is a big food fan and doesn't know how she'll deal with the lack of it. Her luxury items would include tomato ketchup and a very big tin of chocolate.
- She is quite naively opinionated on quite a few issues and refuses to read newspapers as she believes they are all biased.
- Catrin is very family orientated, she has one younger sister and says that she is a Mummy's girl.
- Tries to keep fit but fails miserably.
- Catrin doesn't vote, admits to being ignorant. She thinks MP's are a bunch of turnips and that there needs to be more Welsh MPs.
- Wants to bring fun to the Castaway island, cheer them all up and remind them they're there to have an enjoyable experience and they shouldn't be so miserable and argumentative.
- Catrin is very proud to be typically living the lazy boozy student lifestyle and openly admits that she likes "to do nothing and bum."
- Catrin likes to be right and admits to being stubborn.

Catrin on the other castaways: Catrin thinks that Jonathan "is a bit mean and not very nice and when things are not done his way he gets quite arsey about it ... he's not a pleasant person to watch, although I cant stop watching it." Catrin also thinks that Catherine is quite intimidating.

Reason for applying: Catrin wants to get onto the island to tell the others to stop being drips and get on with it, she also wants to represent Wales and prove to the world that "we're not all weird, stupid and blonde."
