To do this experiment you'll need to raid the cupboards first to find these things:

Picture: the things that you need
All the things that you need

Washable PVA glue
Borax
Jug of water
Food colouring (any colour)
Plastic or metal bowl

Borax can be bought from most DIY stores

Method:

Picture: Pouring the food colouring into the water Step 1
Dissolve 2 tablespoons of borax in half a cup of warm water with a spoon. Now add a drop of food colouring.
Step 2
Pour some PVA glue into a bowl.

Put an equal amount of the coloured water into the bowl and mix.
