I get v. distressed by the minority.

I had the unfortunate experience of sitting next to a minority at a match, and held my daughter in horror as one chap totally unprovoked launched such a verbal tirade, and then physical attack on supporters. I was embarassed to be British.

I comforted the attacked supporter, but to my shame didn't speak up to berate the minority.... .I was too scared he might start on me next.

What scared me most, was that he was with 2 young boys - obviously his sons who were screaming vicious insults along with him. Yobs In Training.

And it is, these small minorities who ruin it for everyone else.

My nephew has passed his driving test
whoopppeeee!

He was very close to my Mum and I had given him a small passport photo of her to take with him. He said before he got into the car he kissed her photo and said lets do this together Gran! Bless him!
My Mum had never learned to drive, with a husband and seven kids she didn't really need to, there was always someone who could take her where she wanted to go lol xx

I'm so happy for him, he hasn't had an easy time of it lately, can't wait to give him a big hug!

B's Mum - Actually a true story, all of the ladies I met in Ukraine ave 'eard of Ryhanna.....

I 'ad alot of them in stiches. Me translater often couldn't translate for crying with laughter.....

Like the one were a ladie asked what do I do for a living....

I replyed with a serious face... "part time funeral director"!!!!!!

Then she asked 'ow long ave I been in Ukraine searching for a wife... I replyed... "35 years"!!!!!!

DWNB01 - why don't you like the Beatles? Even people who are not fans still like one or two of there songs (hey Jude, allo you need is love, yellow submarine) so I think you are the first person to say you hate them? I am wearing my beatles t-shirt today (friday is dress down in my office) with pride ;-).

Not sure on my trousers though, I bought them in a hurray and although black, they seem a bit baggy - and in a coco the clown way - what do you think? Maybe I am too old/ fat for them?

JW this morning said that Richard alliston is standing in for CLP today - does this mean no bloggers first choice? I would have all by myself as the future Mr bagpuss has gone on a boys weekend til Monday - and I only have the furry purries for company - mad old cat woman- me ?

I must explain I joined You Tube some time ago to put my very own video together. I spent age’s splices and cutting and then when I added the music the sound quality was rubbish so I deleted it.
But after a comment on the Get Ready Temptations video I am now an official cool dude.

My mum is a Driving Instructor and she occasionally says to nervous learners that they should imagine the examiner on the loo with trousers down as a relaxation method.

I know I'm running a little late commenting on Chris's latest blog, but I would like to say something about the voilence in Manchester.

One of our best friends went to Manchester to watch the game - luckily he was at one of the other fan zones. He is completely heartbroken and embarrassed at the behaviour of those morons. I spoke to him yesterday and the fact that Rangers lost wasn't even in his brain, all he could think about was what happened on the streets. The pictures shown on the news last night were completely horrific. I don't think I'll ever forget the sight of that poor officer falling and being set upon by about 30 wild dogs posing as human beings. I pray he is o.k.

I really feel for the decent supporters who were there to support their team, they wanted to be close to them, no matter the outcome of the game. And I hope "the authorities" will do everything in their power to name and shame those evil people. Some of the pictures are so clear - someone knows them - I hope they are brought to justice.

Thanks for the birthday wishes here and on facebook. I am looking forward to a take-away tonight more than you can believe. I may even sneak in a nice, bubbly bath first.

Phoenix, after the week I've had the thought of imagining someone sitting on the loo is just too much! Definately a downside to being the only family member close enough with a down stairs toilet. I'm sure that she does appreciate all that I have done though, she would rather be at home without broken bones herself.

Hmm I expect no first song from the blog then tonight.....that's a shame. Never mind, all sing Happy Birthday to me at 5pm instead ha ha!
