Andrew Neal

Andy has extensive experience in marketing, starting his career with United Biscuits before moving into the drinks industry where he became Marketing Director at both United Distillers (Diageo) and Scottish and Newcastle (Heineken).  He took two years out of his more corporate life to work as Head of Community Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.  He was CEO of Essential Edinburgh, a group representing 600 businesses in Edinburgh city centre, liaising between community, arts, public and private sector organisations.  Andy is a non-executive director on the Edinburgh Trams board and is also a trained facilitator.

Andy is a keen listener to speech radio, especially sport and believes that one of the main strategic challenges facing the Â鶹ԼÅÄ is how to harness the potential of social media.
