Christina Black

Christina is Centre Manager of Grosvenor Community and Recreation Centre, a vibrant and inclusive community, leisure and development facility located in West Belfast. 

She is passionate about community engagement in all arenas of life, particularly related to direct decision making affecting localities. Christina studied in Queens University Belfast and holds a Politics Degree and Masters in Social and Community Development. She has extensive experience in facilities, services, organisation and programme management and has been an active player in the sector for nineteen years.

Christina is particularly committed to the equal development of future generations and considers locally driven, high participation strategies as central to this ethos. As such, she is engaged in a number of partnership initiatives related to economic, social, educational, cultural and environmental development and also sits on a local board of governors. 

Christina enjoys walking around her native Belfast and attempting creative writing when she has the time.
