Stuart Hobley, Audience Council member, East

Stuart Hobley lives in Essex and is the Head of Heritage Lottery Fund for London. He is responsible for grant delivery; stakeholder engagement and strategic impact; and building relationships between local partners and key sector organisations.

He was a member of the East panel four years ago, and deputised for the then Chair at Audience Council England.  He understands the passion many people have for the Â鶹ԼÅÄ, and also the need for people to feel their licence fee delivers good value for money.

As Trustee of a local Museum – The Gainsborough House Museum in Suffolk – Stuart understands the importance of clarity between governance and executive; the need for collaborative and consultative discussion and the requirement for clear communication.

Away from the office his interests include cinema, running; he listens to Radio 4, enjoys a range of programming across Â鶹ԼÅÄ TV; and he is a Visiting Fellow, at University Campus Suffolk.
