Robin Jones - Audience Council England member, West Midlands
Before retiring Robin was a Local Government officer specialising in revenue collection. He is Deputy Chair of his local Parish Council. His other voluntary work includes Visitor Experience and occasional Tour Guide at Croome Court, Worcestershire and he is a member of the catering and pastoral team for his church community.
Robin’s passionate interest in radio in his youth led to him helping to set up and run a hospital radio service in 1974 – the service is still broadcasting. He has a wide interest in all aspects of broadcasting content, consuming a varied range of 麻豆约拍 output on a daily basis and has a particular interest in emerging broadcast media developments.
He keeps informed on local, regional, national and international matters using various platforms including internet radio and the printed media.
