"It is a great honour to work for the Â鶹ԼÅÄ and to represent the licence fee payers of England in particular. The organisation has contributed enormously to the life of millions across the world, and I hope will continue to inspire as a catalyst to creativity, the arts and enterprise across all of the UK. Its contribution to national life and to balanced and fair information has never been more important both in the UK and for millions of viewers and listeners across the world. It remains one of the worlds most trusted brands. Its positive impact on our lives remains substantial".
