    So that just about does us for a frantic day in the English Football League.

    Wigan and Rotherham will be playing Championship football next season, as will Blackburn who missed out on a second tier play-off spot.

    There was disappointment for AFC Wimbledon, Doncaster Rovers and Gillingham who were relegated to League Two, too.

    Meanwhile things are hotting up at the top of the Championship and League Two.
