Ìý MMR Vaccination Tuesday 17 June 2003 Ìý
Last week in the High Court the mothers of two girls were ordered, against their will, to give their children the MMR vaccination.

The women had been taken to court by their estranged partners, the fathers of the two girls, neither of whom has responsibility for looking after his daughter.
So what are the implications for women who take care of their children and assume they have the right to make decisions about their lives, particularly when, as in one of these cases, the parents had never even been married?
Observer Columnist Mary Riddell and Children's Committee Member Carolynn Usher join Jenni to discuss.
