Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP 15ÌýMarch 2010
Gordon Brown in the Woman's Hour studio
As part of Winning Women's Votes - The Prime Minister

He's named the date for the budget and it's now widely expected that the General Election will be held on May 6th. In 1997 the women's vote swung behind Labour and put Tony Blair in Number 10. For the first time Gordon Brown will be put to the same test. As the pre-election campaign gathers force, Jane probes the man behind the politician, and the policies that could decide his political future. In recent weeks both Conservative leader David Cameron and Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg have given extended interviews to the programme as part of our initiative, Winning Women's Votes.
