As one of Northern Ireland's best known politicians, Brid Rogers is the first woman to chair a political party in Ireland - north or south.
Her career has spanned the darkest days of the conflict in Northern Ireland, as well as those of greatest hope - the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.
Currently frustrated at being a minister without a ministry as the Assembly remains frozen, Brid Rogers talks to Martha about the highs and lows of her career as she prepares to step down from politics after more than 30 years.
