After almost 100 years since the first women took up her seat in the House of Commons, women still make up less than 20% of MPs at Westminster. On the face of it, the case for more women MPs seems to have been won - all the main parties agree we need more women in parliament – and most have adopted tactics to increase their number. But as no one really thinks this election will see a significant leap in the number of women MPsÌýwhat can and should be done about it?
