Programme 5: Bonsall, Derbyshire

The village of Bonsall sits in two steep-sided valleys cut into the limestone of Bonsall Moor just to the east of the Peak District National Park. Paths thread from the houses in a network that criss-crosses the bumpy, pock-marked fields and dry stone walls up on the tops. So what brought people here, and how have been made a living from this landscape? That's what this Land Lines puzzle is about.
The challenge:
Find the hidden line that links a revelation to the genesis of the village; the connection between a toad and a hole; and how both of these have affected the way people have made their livelihoods here for centuries.
