Kaelyn started learning the violin at the age of four with Zhang Ying at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. She moved to London aged 12, and has been studying with Akiko Ono ever since. She has won international and national prizes, including the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition and Singapore’s National Piano and Violin Competition. Other than having a keen interest in operas, Kaelyn also enjoys reading about chemistry and physics, playing video games, and crocheting in her spare time.
