Ryan Wang, 16, from Vancouver Canada, started playing piano aged four. He is currently studying on a music scholarship with Mr. Gareth Owen at Eton College in the UK, and received his Artist Diploma under Professor Marian Rybicki at the École Normale de Musique de Paris in France in May 2024, being the youngest ever to win the Prix Cortot. Highlights from 2023 include being the youngest on Classic FM’s “30 under 30” list, being in the Fondation Louis Vuitton’s New Generation Piano series 2022-2023, and receiving the First Prize and audience award in the 18th Animato International Chopin Competition.
