Roman has been a skilled professional swordsman for over 20 years now, working across both film and television.

In addition to choreographing the fight sequences in The Musketeers, he has performed stunts on a number of action-packed productions such as 麻豆约拍 Two’s and Sky One’s Sinbad. In his line of work he has trained many high profile actors including Mark Strong, Christoph Waltz and Heath Ledger.

“I would like to say a big thanks for the opportunity to work on The Musketeers for such a long time, and with such a huge number of fighting scenes. I gained a lot of experience during rehearsals with the actors, who made fantastic progress with their fighting skills, and I received amazing support from the production and from the Stunt Co- ordinator/Second Unit Director Steve Griffin. I have worked on more than 80 “historical” projects, but The Musketeers was so special, because for the third series alone we prepared more than 50 fights and a battle.”
