Max Hug Williams

Max has experience behind the camera as both cameraman and producer.

After Max completed an MSc degree in zoology and animal behaviour, he spent several years working alongside director of photography Chris Openshaw.

Max then went on to be selected for the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Natural History Unit camera bursary. He has filmed in all kinds of extreme environments from the Amazon to the Arctic, and he has over 50 credits on many award winning series.

Max on tigers:

“I’ve filmed lions before and a big male lion is impressive, but a tiger is even bigger than that, and that is pretty crazy. Because you wouldn’t walk up to a lion in the Serengeti, or be tracking after it, and that’s what we were doing.â€
