Patrick Evans
Patrick became a journalist after reading about efforts to study and save the Siberian tiger.
Patrick read French and German at university, and later learned Russian in order to explore the nature and culture of the former Soviet countries. After reading a newspaper article about trying to set up a conservation project to save Siberian tigers he decided to become a journalist.

Years later he visited the actual project heβd read about, and became hooked on both the cause and Russia. After this trip Patrick met a ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ producer and they began developing a film which would bring the story of the Siberian tiger and the people who try to save it to the world.
After three years the result is this series which he hopes will bring much needed attention to one of the world's least filmed but most iconic big cats.
