'Scotland canβt return to business as usualβ
Scotland will βlose a generationβ if it attempts to return to business as usual after lockdown, says Labourβs Anas Sarwar.
The Glasgow MSP called for state intervention to βretrain and reskillβ the workforce.
He told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Debate Night that the 1980s shows how economic downturns cost lives.
He said: βPeople were put on the unemployment scrapheap and many of them went on to never work again.β
