'Scotland has problem with hate speech'
The SNPβs Alyn Smith says Scotland needs to tackle its βproblem with hate speechβ.
He told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Debate Night that concerns around police powers in the Hate Crime Bill have been βmassively overstatedβ.
The Stirling MP said that people have a right to free speech, but they βdo not have a right to hate speechβ.
He called on parties to work together at Holyrood on the new legislation.
