Rowing: Shorten excited by new challenge
British Rowingβs Rebecca Shorten wants to test herself in the womenβs four in Belgrade.
Shorten has been named in one of two womenβs four boats for the first World Cup of the year, and is intrigued to test herself in the new event.
βWe donβt have a clue, which is why itβll be good to go out there and see where we are against everyone else,β Shorten told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshireβs Tim Dellor.
βIt gives another world boat, whereas before it was only the eight and the pair,β she continued.
And Shorten simply wants to get the competitive season under way, and then lay out priorities for the season.
βWe donβt really have any priorities at the minute; itβs just seeing how World Cup 1 goes.
βWeβll just see how it goes from there.β
