Rowing: Dawson feeling the pressure of menβs four
Jacob Dawson wants a strong showing in Belgrade in the flagship British Rowing boat.
With many of the Olympic medallists moved into the menβs eight for this season, Dawson has been moved into the boat which has won gold at the last five Olympic games.
βThereβs certainly an element of pressure,β Dawson told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshireβs Tim Dellor. βThe boat has been the top, flagship boat for the last few years.
βThe eight is the top boat this year, so in some respects it takes the pressure off a little bit.β
And Dawson is already looking ahead to the European Championships this year which will be raced in Glasgow.
βThe Europeans are obviously in Glasgow this year, on home land.
βTheyβll be fun to do.β
