Joint overall Stars of Suffolk winner
Tom Cotton has had to learn to walk and talk again following major brain surgery.
He was left paralysed after a life-saving procedure to disconnect half of his brain which was needed to stop frequent seizures caused by a condition called Rasmussen's Encephalitis.
Having regained 60% movement in his legs and 30% in his arms, he now attends mainstream school, and despite having also lost vision in the left side of both eyes, doesn't see anything as an obstacle - he just gets on with it.
