Scheme to use veterans' skills for work
Suffolk employers are being encouraged to value the skills of ex-military personnel more highly with the launch of a new scheme in Ipswich today
VETS East - or the veterans employment transition support programme - says businesses are missing out on a wealth of experience.
The new regional programme is led by Andy Wood from Adnams, in his capacity as The Prince's Ambassador for the East of England, who urged employers to tap into the "really valuable resource" veterans can provide.
