Race Is On To Provide Secondary School Places

By 2016 Northampton will need an extra two secondary schools to meet demand. Northamptonshire County Council says the growth in primary school numbers will put pressure on the town's secondaries.

By 2016 Northampton will need an extra two secondary schools in order to meet demand. That's according to Northamptonshire County Council which says the recent growth in primary school numbers will soon put extra pressure on the county town's secondaries.

The authority says finding the extra secondary school space will be more difficult and more expensive than with primary schools.
