Rail Commuters Facing Major Disruption

Rail passengers from Northamptonshire are warned of major disruption next year while the line to London is rebuilt. For more than 2 weeks a section of the line to London will close completely.

For more than 2 weeks next August a crucial section of the Northampton to London rail line will be closed completely. The stretch through Watford Junction will also be closed at other holiday periods. Train companies say they're drawing up plans to cope with the disruption.

Reporter Tom Percival sets the scene from Northampton Railway Station, and commuters from Northampton offer their views.
