British Sculptors

The champions of modernism, such as Jacob Epstein, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, heralded an extraordinary renaissance in 20th century British sculpture that would resonate throughout the art world. Successors including Anthony Caro and Eduardo Paolozzi would illuminate the 1960s and, in their turn, pave the way for the new wave of British sculptors, such as Anish Kapoor and Antony Gormley, who emerged onto the scene in the early 1980s.
