Iona and Sandie live in Ayrshire and are planning their trip to Scots Scuil where they will take part in a series of workshops on the Scots language. The girls discuss what to expect and give their opinion on the importance of the Scots language and being bilingual. Sandie talks Scots with her grandparents and Iona with her mum. Their families also discuss speaking Scots and how they encourage and support it. Their headteacher also explains how she promotes Scots at school.
