An animation explaining how to mentally add multiple-digit numbers together. In his quest to release Princess Amber from the Evil Ruler who has imprisoned her, Captain Calamity must complete a test. He must return the eye diamond to Turtle Island. To get to the island he must pay the boatman in pizza. He gets pizza from three different stalls and altogether has 26 + 34 + 28 pizzas. One efficient way of adding these together is demonstrated. Next, rabbits must be provided as payment to a guide for Turtle Island - 130 rabbits plus 126 rabbits are calculated to equal 256. Again the process for the calculation is explained.
