An introduction to bar charts
The use of bar charts for graphing data is explained through a song. A bar chart is completed daily to show the goals scored by a pupil at school over the course of a week. By Friday it is possible to see the best day shown by the longest bar and the worst day shown by the shortest bar. The song demonstrates how to calculate the total number of goals scored for the week.
