Traffic concerns for West Kent supermarket

It is one of the most congested roads in West Kent and it could be about to get worse. Asda plans to open a store on the North Farm Industrial Estate in Tunbridge Wells.

Medway Council is being urged to publish the results of an inquiry into what went wrong with last month's 11-plus tests.

Two of the 10 test centres, Rainham School for Girls and Chatham Boys Grammar, experienced delays and hitches, sparking dozens of complaints from angry parents.

Two weeks ago the portfolio holder for children's services on Medway Council, Les Wicks, said he would have the results of his inquiry into problems sorted within days, before the review panel was due to consider borderline students. However, a conclusion has yet to be published.
