Why shouldn't gypsies and travellers amongst us?

In the week of the Dale Farm evictions, a Conservative politician in Kent is calling for new housing developments to include plots for gypsies and travellers.

John Wright from Swale Borough Council says it would create balanced communites, but the leader of the Labour group Roger Truelove claims gypsies and travellers do not want to mix with other cultures.

What do you think of the idea? Could it work? Would you buy a house on a development that had gypsy and traveller plots alongside houses and flats?

How do you feel about all the graphic pictures of Gaddafi splashed across all of the front pages of the papers this morning?

Did you see the TV footage of Gaddafi being dragged and paraded by his gun-wielding captors? How much do you really want to see? Is a dead body really an appropriate image?
