Best of British
Johnny Keeling films wildlife in an unusually harsh Derbyshire winter. In one of his unique and poetic views of British wildlife, Johnny comments that such weather makes you appreciate spring all the more when it comes. And when it does, there's a flurry of exhilarating activity. All around animals are breeding, including birds, water voles and frogs. He's filmed some unusual things including an adder basking and a stoat stealing eggs. Johnny recites one of his poems, on the theme of spring returning.
