First flight

The white-tailed sea eagle chicks have been deliberately underfed by their parents for the past few weeks, as an added incentive for them to leave the nest. With a strong wind blowing, it seems a perfect day for the youngsters to try out their wings for the first time.

One of the chicks is blown about by the wind. It's going to take plenty of practice if the youngsters are going to become masters of the air like their parents. Even picking a good place to land can be tricky.
